 Blog Response #2 “A person should experience a nervous reaction if she is worried about failing, not because she’s scared of succeeding.” I completely agree with this quote you should always try your best to succeed don’t let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game. In this book Jodee is afraid of not fitting in and she tries so hard but it just doesn’t work out. April in this scenario probably is being seen as a teacher’s pet. But she’s not she is just good at school. Some people just judge a book by its cover, and that’s not fair to the person you should always give them the benefit of the doubt.

I like the part at the beginning when you put that "Dont let the fear of striking out keep you from playing that game." I really describes the kind of position that Jodee and April are in. I also like how you put dont judge a book by its cover. That is also very true. Madison :)
