 Hatupatu Adventure One day Hatupatu was hunting for food with his brothers but the brothers refused to go hunting with him .The brothers thought he was useless and weak. But their mother said, ‘You must take Hatupatu with you’. So the brothers took Hatupatu hunting with them. They went to the forest to go hunting. Meanwhile Hatupatu was sitting at the camp. The brothers finally came back. When the brothers came back they would put the food in a bag so the yummy food would be fresh for when they got back home. Every time the brothers would do the same thing and every time they came back from hunting they saw that something wasn't right. When Hatupatu thought this brothers were gone, he ate all the food and scattered it so when his brothers came back they wouldn't know who did it. When the brothers caught him eating the food they said ‘ahha said the brothers and chased Hatupatu until they lost track of him. Hatupatu came to a cave. It was the bird woman’s cave. When the bird woman came home to her cave she saw Hatupatu . She trapped him with her bird’s. The bird woman said , “I will eat Hatupatu when he is big and fat’ When the bird woman wasn't looking Hatupatu ran away but the bird woman saw him and she chased him every where until he came to a rock Hatupatu said a special word and hid inside the rock . The bird woman scratched on the rock as hard as she could, but the rock did not open. A few days later Hatupatu came out but the bird woman was still there and chased Hatupatu until they came to a hot boiling mud Pool. Hatupatu jumped and the bird woman jumped and she didn't make it. Instead she died a horrible death as she boiled in the mud. Hatupatu went back home and lived happily from then on.
