Where we Live The Livewires live in New Zealand. Our district is very peaceful because it is quiet. Ten Livewires live in town and 14 live on farms.
There are lots of dairy farms that make milk and the tankers come and get the milk. The milk that the cows make gets turned into cheese and butter. They take the cheese, butter and milk to the supermarket and sell it.
There are two main towns near us called Te Awamutu and Kihikihi. There are about 10 000 people in the towns.
Some small mountains such as Pirongia, Kakepuku and Maungatautari are extinct volcanoes. Maungatautari is a special mountain. It has a 50 km fence around to stop the predators like rats, dogs and stoats.

You have interesting sentences with facts about our district. Do you like the cheese, butter and milk that is produced in our district? Oh, and ice-cream of course!
