Were we live The Livewires live in the North Island of New Zealand. It is very peaceful because it is very quiet. Ten people live in town and 14 people live on farms.
There are lots of farms, mostly dairy farms, with cows that make milk that goes to a dairy factory to make cheese and butter.
Some people live in Te Awamutu and Kihikihi. The population is
10 000.
The small mountains are Pirongia, Kakepuku and Maungatautari. They are extinct volcanoes. Maungatautari is a bird sanctuary with a 50 km fence to stop pests such as cats, dogs, rats, mice, ferrets and stoats.
