Kiwis A kiwi is a bird that lives in New Zealand. Did you know kiwis eat worms? Their favourite foods are insects and berries. Kiwis have strong legs to run away from enemies. A kiwi is the size of a hen but the egg is six times bigger than a hens egg. Did you know a female is bigger than a male? The kiwis burrow is up to 1 to 3 metres long. Kiwis are flightless birds. They are the only birds that have nostrils at the end of their beaks.
