A World of Wonder

We are a class of second graders! There are so many things that bloggers can do: write articles; type things you've written on paper; send comments to give people ideas, make connections, or give compliments; look at the ClustrMap and see where our visitors come from; read comments people have made on our blogs; read Mrs. Shulman's articles; look at the bookshelf; visit different links like Dance Mat Typing and Free Rice; and visit blogs from other classes around the world. Have fun blogging!

Should Third Graders Have a Blog?

Our second grade class wrote paragraphs trying to persuade third grade teachers and other adults in our school that third graders SHOULD have a blog. We would love to hear what you think!

Hello Mrs. Shulman's Class,

I really enjoyed listening to your reasons why you should be able to blog next year in third grade. I hope you persuade your new teachers to create their own class blog for you to use. In fact I plan on using your convincing articles to help my second grade class so they can have a blog next year too. I did help one of the two third grade teachers to create a blog in March, but that is as far as she got. Let's hope that with your persuasion my students can also continue with you next year in the wonderful journey of blogging.

Have a super summer!

Dear Mrs. Shulman's class,
You have written VERY convincing articles! I think that your reasons for wanting a blog in the third grade were great and I hope that you can blog next year!

Dear Soon-To-Be-
Third Graders,
Wow! Your powers of persuasion are dynamite. It sounds like you have had a great time blogging this year and have really learned a lot!
I am sending this post to my boss, who is the superintendent of our school system. (The boss over all the principals!) I think the students in our school system need to be blogging just like your class is! It's a great way to express yourself, isn't it?

Thank you for sharing your hard work! Enjoy your summer and I hope you get to blog next year!
