Becca, I know what you mean about bittersweet -- I went to school for a lot of years and eventhough I was happy to be finished, I was sad too. I think you made a very fine observation. Now its time to look forward to all the great things you get to do this summer and I cannot wait to hear about them!

I am also bittersweet that the year is almost over. I am really excited to choose the writing for our golden folders this week, and take all of our school things home, but I am so sad to be taking things down and packing things up in our classroom. We had such a great class this year and have learned so much, that it's hard to believe this year is almost over! You're going to have a great summer, and I'm sure we'll keep in touch with blogging. And remember to stop by our new classroom next year!

I always liked the last day of school. I was excited to experience the warm weather, go to camp, and play outside. Have a good summer!
