Our class read Seed Folks in our English class by Paul Fleischman. This book is about a community garden in Cleveland, Ohio and everyone is drawn together by friendship. After we read this book we had to take a character from the book and someone from our life and design and make a seed packet and it had to include a picture, title, a quote from that person, and directions based on their life for planting. For example: I did my dad and Sae Young for my seed packets. For both of them I did hot peppers. For my dad’s quote I said “Have you ever been to the zoo?” and for Sae Young I did “afraid of everything, all the time.”
