Acid Rain

To inform you about acid rain here are some clues on what causes it and how to reduce it. Acid rain comes from pollutants that era made by burning fossil fuels or natural gasses. Two of the pollutants are nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide. When these pollutants mix with the water in the air they start a chemical reaction that can take place over a distance of 50-300 miles or 500-1500 miles before theyu actually become an acid. when the acid does come out of the clouds it can pollut the water, kill wild life and eat away at metal. the acid rain can be a big problem.

There are ways you can prevent there from being more acid rain. You could use your car less so you don't pollut the air. you could also use less electricty so the power plants don't waste coal making electricty and polluting the air. You can also save the planet now.
