It's here....
Greetings from the invisible one in the corner!
I hope that everyone enjoyed their March Break. Do you know that you have another short break coming up on April 3rd? It would be nice however, if we had some warm weather though, wouldn't it? Anyway, Spring is here, so let's start smelling the flowers as they begin to bud.
On a sad note, this upcoming week marks the last week of Ms.Stanic's stay with us at Deer Park. Please make sure to let her know how she did. It's one thing for me, as her associate teacher, to tell her, but it will mean so much more coming from you guys...her students.
Please check the calendar to the right for upcoming general interest dates. If there's something that you would like me to place on the calendar, let me know and I'll make sure to add to it.
March 28, 2008 is an important date this year, as it marks the third anniversary of a world wide movement to make people aware of global warming and climate change. TDSB schools and many Torontonians will be a part of EarthHour. Check out the website and sign up to be a part of it...do your part.
As the days get longer and warmer, you will have more opportunities to be outside. I think that it's a great idea to enjoy the outdoors, go for a walk, play badminton, rollerblade, whatever keeps you active. However, don't forget about your school work, stay on top of things and don't let your work pile up. Stay motivated to the end of the year and give yourself the chance to earn top grades!
See you guys soon.
Sincerely
