Brent's Real Truck Story
In Belgium there are these days where children can ride in a big truck.
Me and mum were in a big and cool red truck.
The driver was nice. Off we went in a herd of trucks. In some trucks there is a bed to sleep
in so we went to sit on the bed. We saw a blue truck down in the water and people came
out of the truck. I said "Bad
luck for them". After a long fun ride we got back to where the trucks
started. I said "I want to do that again next year". The next year we went
again in a different truck and had a different driver. It was fun. The
driver wasn't as funny as the last driver but he was nice. After that we
went to our peaceful home.

I enjoyed your story about riding in a huge truck - I'd like to go to Belgium one day to sightsee and eat chocolate. What other adventures did you have in Belgium? Have a great day from Wendy the Librarian at Greenpark Primary School in Tauranga

You are so lucky Brent. I have always wanted to ride in a big truck but never have. I always thought it would be cool to sleep in one too. You began to describe the truck as "big & red", what could you compare this to? Something to think about next time? I really enjoyed reading this story so thank you for sharing.

Hi Brent,
Your truck ride sounds like a lot of fun. The truck looks so huge in the picture. How did you get into the truck? Did you need a ladder? Was your ride bumpy or smooth? Thanks for sharing your truck ride with us!
