After having dinner with my family, my sister and I went to Bliss Street to get an ice cream sundae. On the way going to the shop, we saw a shriveled old man sleeping on the side of the road. I felt how he felt, sleeping on streets, cold, wishing for a home that I have. So I put some money next to him. After we got our sundaes, I felt very happy because I had done a good deed and one of the best. A smile was on my face and I think was the man's face, when he saw the money.
When I reached home, I thanked God for giving me a home and thanked my parents for all the hard work they did just for me to have what I need. I had done a good deed but also learned something. Don't complain! Think of others! Feel for others!

It was really nice of you to help that poor man.

It is a joy to read that a person your age noticed the other unprivileged people around them and not just think about themselves. What goes around comes around!
