T-What were the results of the French and Indian war?
Dear diary,
Today I am going to tell you the results of the French and Indian War.
People wanted to expand their land. The English, the Spanish and the British all wanted to do their own thing. So you know what that means...WAR!!
I was a general in the French and Indian War. I am fighting for the British.
Nobody liked the Iroquois. They would not fight because we were taking their land.
We tried to get their land, but they were using native war strategies.
The fort Necessity was our fort, but we were defeated. The French and Indian War changed the political face of America. The French, who had once controlled vast stretches of North America , were now limited to two small islands near Newfoundland.
The British found themselves in possession of half of America and all of Canada.
The spanish controlled the lands of New Orleans and lands west of the Mississippi River. The natives were kicked out and were not treated well. My people were happy.
Your friend,
George Washington
