Responsibilities of the Young

I think that “The Road of the Dead” mainly shows responsibility. Ruben and Cole think it’s their responsibility to find out what happened to their sister. They also think it’s their responsibility to make their mother happy by finding out what happened to their sister. Cole has the responsibility of taking care of Ruben.

It must be a huge responsibility for Ruben and Cole to have to figure out all of that stuff. i don't think that it is fair for the boys to have to feel responsible to make their mom happy. i mean i see why they would feel that way but it kind of is sad. This book sounds really interesting and I think ill give it a read!

I totally agree with you on the theme of responsibility. Cole also had a terrible temper and had to show a lot of self-control to find the answers he was looking for about his sister’s murder.
