my science thinking • What did you observe when the salt and water were combined?
• How did measurement help you describe the changes?
• What have you learned about the properties of salt when you add it to water?
What I observed when the salt and water was combined was that the water was still clear , but the water was not as clear as water alone.

The measurement helped me by telling me how much 5cc of salt and 50 mL of water weighs.

The property of the salt when it is combined with the water is that it does not completely dissolve.
