Science Thinking What did you observe when the salt and water were combined?
The mixture was cloudy at first and then, once stirred, became a clear solution.
How did the water and the salt change when they were combined in the cup?
When the salt was added there was a cloudy substance made. As you stirred and dissolved the salt there was only a few crystals at the bottom of the cup. This made the salt seem to change from a solid to a liquid, but really dissolved.
