The Invention of Hugo Cabret
We read The Invention of Hugo Cabret along with our friends in New Hampshire, Mr. Ferguson's 4th graders, The Thrilling Thirteen, formerly known as The Fantastic Fifteen. Each week we held a video conference to share our writing and drawings. We hope you enjoy our video.
We think your blog is very creative. We didn't know the book was going to be a movie. Our class did a vote and the results were five people who think it is going to be animated, 10 people don't know and 12 people think that it is going to be realistic.

We have just finished reading "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" and we absolutely loved the book. When Mrs R stopped reading it each day we would always beg her to read some more. Sometimes she teased us and stopped reading right at a very exciting part.

Awesome job! Hollywood is knocking at the door. Thank you for allowing us to share this book with you. It enriched the experience for my kiddos and myself. Can't wait for the next movie.

Happy New Year from New Zealand. I love your video and now I am very curious to read Hugo Cabret. I will visit the library and add it to the top of my summer holiday reading list. It sounds like a good book for me to read to the Livewires when we start school again next month.

What do you think my class did right after watching your video on Huge Cabret? They marched straight down to the library to find it! Well, as luck would have, that book is no where to be found in our library. A few kids are going to the public library and I hope they find it there. So, you have started the Hugo Cabret ball rolling for our class. We'll let you know when we get the book.

I was so impressed with the Hugo Cabret & monster videos. I'm a 3rd grade teacher in Vallejo, CA. I'm in a Master's program for Ed Tech. I would love to collaborate next year on some project. I'm a newbie, but need to get started with a hi tech class.

What a wonderful reflection and response to your reading of the novel. I could tell how you enjoyed it and how much you have learned from it. I'll certainly be sharing that book with 4/5J when we gp back to school. Maybe we can talk about it then too.
