Welcoming Michelle We have a new student in our class; her name is Michelle. I am going to empathize and tell you she has gone through a lot of moving. In the past six months she moved five times. The hard part also is every time she moves she has to make new friends and you know how hard it is to make friends. I just am asking you as fifth graders to put yourself in her shoes. She moved four times and had to move a class higher and leave all her friends behind. I think Michelle is really brave and always optimistic. Please welcome Michelle to fifth grade in a comfy way.
