It's December...but where's the snow?
So, the weather outside is not so frightful, glad to hear it actually! It is getting colder and the days shorter, all part of the cycle of living in the 'Great White North'.
As we approach the end of 2008, all of us have realized that first term has come to a halt and that we're working diligently towards our second term. Remember that your agenda will be very useful to write down important due dates and important information, regardless of your grade. Use the agenda!!!
Please do not forget to check your Assignment section found on the top left of your blog with grade and class specific homework and information. Grade 7's you're working on your group notes using one of the aforementioned websites (see previous blog article) and grade 8's your working on your Confederation videos and Photo Essays. All pertinent information is there in the Assignment section.
Now that many of you have received comments from other students, don't forget to reply back to them. The more insightful comments, usually get a response quicker than those that look like this: "Cool blog", "I love your blog", "Keep up the good work!". All nice things to say to someone regarding their blog, but is there something more that you could say?
The last time I remember having snow where I am on Christmas was when I was 5.

Several students left incorrect URLs but i finally found one who left a correct URL to follow my way here. My students will be encouraged to comment back tomorrow. We really enjoyed the good comments! I would remind anyone under 18 not to leave their name anywhere online. We are using pseudonyms for this reason.
