 hometown tales: The Beaver Serpent and You Your probably wondering what this animal is well I’ll tell you. It has the scales of a serpent, the tail of a beaver, and the head of a dragon. This animal haunts the murky waters of beaver island. The once beautiful island is now a place of fear. The Loch Nes monster is nothing compared to this serpent!!!! There is still a school and a store and things are pretty normal other than the fact that no one goes swimming in the lake. All or at least most of the cities atractions include water, water, and more water. The cities base forms around the Beaver Serpent now that they can’t go swimming anymore there are t-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, and even hats with the serpent on them. The people on beaver island wonder if this hoar will ever go away, and if so when? to be continued...
