Serendipity Skyping with AlabamaThis morning we received a surprise Yackpack and then Skype call from a grade one class in Alabama. They are studying Canada and wanted to ask us some questions, including whether or not we had seen any moose. (Most of us had, although not in Moose Jaw.) From them, we found out that although it was sunny where we live, it was raining in Alabama, they start school at 7:50 in the morning and they have an ice rink that they like to skate at. A great way to start the day--an unexpected, pleasant surprise.
