Barry Boyhound
This is a book and I really like it.
This book has 230 pages and was written by Andy Spearman.
The book starts of with a boy named Barry, who somehow magicaly transformed into a boyhound (Boy on the outside, hound on the inside).
Whille waiting, two fleas where on Barry's head drinking blood and talking together.
Barry wakes up and goes down for breakfast, Barry spilt his milk, found a worm, and ate it.
Barry leaves home for school, but goes to the beach insted, where Barry found a man whereing a shirt called "I'm with stupid ->" and his pet poodle, Valdimir Guerrero.
After talking with Valdimir Barry goes into the city where he meets a squashed frog, after a while Barry began to play with the frog.
Barry gets to school and gets barraged by squirrels, after the battle the frog was half ripped.
Read this book to get the ending!
I enjoyed this book, because of all the other books I read either included animals that can talk,
people who actually transform into animals for a short period, and reading from 1st person.
I also find this book really unique, because their is a Narrator and the book is an autobiography.
I recommend this book from grade 4 up, because some grade 3's don't like long books and there is a grossness alert in the book.
I would give this book 10/10 for best book and 9/10 for the grossness alert.
