 What Does Equal Mean?  Recently I was doing some assessment and I realized that some of the children are a little fuzzy about what "equals" actually means. This week we've done a few hands-on activities to get better aquainted with this famous concept. Today we made up some number stories that had the sum on either the left or right of the equation.
