Saskatchewan Thinks Nuclear Energy Might Be OK
Thank you all for your opinions on last Friday's writing assignment. I believe that everyone has an opinion on this nuclear question. In the Saskatoon Star Phoenix this morning, the following article was on page 1.

"Majority supports nuclear plant: poll
Sask. Party's Cheveldayoff calls results encouraging

REGINA -- A majority of Saskatchewan residents favour the idea of having a uranium refinery in the province, while support for a nuclear reactor located here also exceeds opposition, says a poll conducted for the Regina Leader-Post."

What I find interesting is the opposition to the location of the nuclear plant.

"However, respondents weren't as warm to the idea of Lake Diefenbaker as a location for a nuclear power plant, Sigma Analytics found."

I think we need to do some more investigating. Read the Star Phoenix article.

Have a great day!

Mr E.
