Technology Infusion

I work with teachers and students in grades 4 to 7. Our focus is on UDL (Universal Designs for Learning) Principles. We try to provide multiple means of representation, expression and engagement for our students. We are located in Northern BC in Canada. My personal goal is to infuse technology into all curricular areas.

Although I no longer have current students linked directly to this page, I still plan on posting assignments from the other classes (and teachers) I work collaboratively with. Check back often.

Conditions of Use

Field Trips - part 2 Now that we have brainstormed ways we could convince our principal to change his mind about canceling all field trips for the remainder of the year it's time to create some strong arguments. Please remember to go back and look at the comments your classmates left for you.

Your task today is to come up with strong reasons as to why we should be going on field trips. Be sure to include educational, social, and emotional reasons. Remember you must present a strong ARGUMENT in order to convince the principal to change his mind.

You will need to develop 5 reasons. With each reason you must include an example and provide as much convincing evidence that you can.

We will be using an inspiration template (see below) - this can be found in my handout folder.
