Ophir to Cripple Well, it looks like the rest for Jeff King was taken at the right time. Most of the other mushers completed the Ophir to Cripple leg of the race in 11 or 12 hours. Jeff King rolled into Cripple 9 hours and 26 minutes after leaving Ophir. Strategy in a 1,000 mile race is critical!
