I think we're ready -- Let's Give It a Try! OK class. You know me! I love to try new things. I think you'll like this one. Long story short, it's a writing assignment. I know, I know! Some of you like to write, some don't. This one is different, though. Whether you start on your Neo or just go straight to the computer, you can publish your work straight to the web.

One catch! Your writing comes straight to my email first. If everything looks OK, I just click on "publish" and you're there. There's a good reason for this extra step: SAFETY.

Here's a good way to look at it:

Students

Yes to Publishing belongs to Mr. Schwan because he's responsible for this website.

I want to make sure everything you say online keeps you safe. Also, if you make a really embarrassing mistake on your article I want to have a chance to tell you before your article goes online. You'll appreciate that if you ever make a big blunder. Hey, I'd want you to catch my mistakes, too!

So, now that you know the groundrules, let's get started. Click on the Teacher Assignments link in the bottom right corner, the 3/3 assignment called Your first blog post to get started.

Have fun!
Mr. Schwan

After reading through the blogs on what the students like about 5th grade, I have come to the conclusion that PE is the favorite class and the kids are having alot of fun. I think their PE teacher should read these. Oh yeah, and a few students even like Mr. Schwan (haha). Great job and have fun !!
