Social Studies Review My class has been learning about the Revolutanary War, and Slavery. We watched a movie called Amzing Grace whice is about slavery. Every day we watch School House Rock (America Rock). We watch movies about George Washington and Ben Franklin. We have reasearched lots about the war and slavery. These are some questions Professor McGonagall asked me.
1. Why did British Parliament decide to tax the colonists living in America?
British Parliament taxed colonists becuase they did not like the king and thought the king was unfair. British called Colonists TRADERS!!!
2. Why did the colonists decide not to pay the taxes?
They thought the taxes were unfair so decided to boycott.
