 Little Bloggers  We're blogging!! Today we wrote our first blog entries. The kids also got to choose a background and a name for their blog. Also, they put a self-portrait onto their blog page. They are pretty excited, as well they should be. If you are reading this, make sure that you check out some of the kids' writing. Just click on their name on the right hand side of this page. You will notice that the number of "reads" are recorded under each blog entry. This is also exciting for the kids to think that someone, somewhere in the world has read their writing. I would like to encourage you to "comment" on the writing that the children do. All you have to do is click on the word "comment" under the entry on the blog. It will ask you for your name, email address (that is optional) and a comment. You also have to type the word "midas" into that little box at the bottom. Then, just click on the word "submit". All comments are sent to my email so that nothing inappropriate is published. Later, I will teach the children how to comment on each other's writing, but right now they would be thrilled to hear from you.
