Activity Time Sometimes, when the children have completed their work, and the other children are finishing up, they have "activity time". This means that they get to choose to use the math manipulatives, read a book, do a puzzle, or interact with any of the other hands on activities in the classroom. It is always interesting to see what each student chooses. Some children always want to do the same activity, while others choose a variety of things. It is also fascinating to see the way classes of children like certain things. Some years, I have so settle disagreements because everyone wants to use the Lego. Other years, it has been the plastic animals or the writing materials. This year, your children all seem to want to play with the dominoes.
