 We're Back!!  The first day of school. . .new friends, my own desk (not those tables we used in kindergarten),a new teacher, brand new school supplies and "frogs jumping in my tummy". It was exciting but a lot of work for children who are used to only half a day of school. It was 9:45 when the first child asked me "but when do we get to play"? The children laboured much of the day to complete a book that each of them took home to proudly "read" to their parents, but by the end of the day, we were actually able to spend a bit of time in cooperative play. I’m looking forward to a marvelous year as we learn together.
