Room 11 Term 3 Planning Room 11 are well underway with their planning for Term 3. We have spent most of this term thinking about native birds - especially the Kiwi, hence the videos below.
Now we are thinking more local - How can we invite more birds to visit out school? Below you will see the process we have gone through in class.
Enjoy!

Wow Room 11, we are so impressed with your blog site. (We especially liked the video clips of the kiwi and kakapo!
Thank you for our slideshow and message Mr Ward Smith! We will be interested to see if you do manage to invite more birds into our school. (I really like fantails!) From Karen and Room18

We could give you some suggeations from Whakarongo School to attract Pukekos. Look for them after the rain, they like it wet. Keep the fences low because they can't escape by flight quickly and don't try to get close because they will show a white bottom to warn you to stay away.

Wow Room 11, you ROCK! Your slideshow if fantastic and shows a lot of learning from your Conservation Theme. I wonder if we could put this onto our cluster website to show other people your awesome learning?
