Conditions of Use
End of week 7
With Queen's birthday Monday the week was shorter than usual.
I missed a blog photo opportunity yesterday when we had the Special Needs Coordinators at school. St Matthew's is part of a ministry contract along with the other Marton primary schools. It is aimed at training a special needs coordinator in each school to organise and oversee the special needs teaching in the schools and to provide a consistent level of information for the specialist teachers such as the Resource Teacher of Literacy and Speech Language Therapists. The teachers are being trained by Carolyn Jewell from West End School, Palmerston North.
I had a lovely time in R3 yesterday teaching and helping several children use Tux Paint. Tux Paint is a free download and is a simple painting / drawing programme. It has pleanty of possibiities for us and will be our painting programme until we can invest in new imacs and use KidPix.

My Classes & Students
About the Blogger
I have been teaching now for 24 years and I am starting to get the hang of it. Working with kids is challenging and rewarding and being back in a class again is just great. I love running and geeking out on my macBook pro so I gues that makes me very balanced !
