An Afternoon of Fun
We are very lucky to have lots of outdoor places to play at our school. We are also lucky that we can take the time to play and enjoy the outdoors. It was a beautiful day to be outside and the snow was just right for making things. Jack Hutchinson, our wonderful Thursday afternoon volunteer joined us as we worked together to create some amazing things in the snow. As you watch our movie, look for the ways we are working together and helping friends. We learn how to cooperate and how to be friends when we take time to build and create. Look for our smiles too. We were having fun!

Weren't you all so adventurous to have yourselves buried in the snow! Brrrr! I sure wish I could've joined you. My fingers are crossed for a few more days like this so that you can have more snow play!

What fun it looks like you are having learning in the snow! We live in south Texas, where it is warm most of the time. We must read books about snow, because most of our kindergarteners have never seen it! This looks like so much fun! Thanks for sharing!

I love that you were wise enough to take the time to learn in the snow. I love the smiles and the creations too. While we don't get snow as often in Surrey, BC, Canada when we did we also went to learn in the snow. Thanks for sharing your smiles. It confirms that I made the right decision when I took my grade one class out in it too. :-) Happy learning.
