Throughout the year, the Kiddoes will be exposed to the alphabet by loosely following the "Jolly Phonics Program", which pairs gross motor movements to a corresponding letter in the hopes of helping them remember the sound/symbol relationship. It is a fun and exciting way to learn the alphabet. Each week when a new letter is introduced, a colouring page will be sent home which illustrates this relationship.
This week we learned about the letter "T,t". As a class we brainstormed words which began with "T,t". I challenged the Kiddoes, that if they chose to, they could draw some pictures at home of "T,t" words and bring them to school to add to our page.
If you have any questions about the program, please feel free to email.
Have a great weekend!
