My first impressions of this class was like all the other adult classes Ive ever attended. Everyone is quiet and a little shy at first but open up shortly after. Ive taken classes here before and my initial thought of this building was that the layout was so not like a regular school. The one thing I must say Im not a fan of is the bathroom location, like most other people Im sure. Ive never had Jody as a teacher before but find her to be very down to Earth and easily approachable. In my opinion the work we have done so far hasnt been all that difficult. The main thing Im going to do this semester to assure my success is to not make any excuses. I found that in life when I really wanted something, as long as I made no excuses along the way I had no failure.

My name is Jody Ferguson. I am 32 years old. I am married and have two children - Alexis (13) and Aiden (7). I am a very busy hockey/drama/Girl Guides/roller derby mom who also loves good music, tattoos and Coca-Cola. I teach English Language Arts at both the Mcleod Adult Learning Centre and the Transcona Adult Learning Centre. I love my job!
