The Bright Whetu children have made a connection between painting and geometry by painting circles on a long roll of wallpaper.  They started by painting circles in the centre of the paper and growing  the design outwards by adding more circles.  They moved around the design and added details to the work that was already there.  As the design grew there were more and more places to join in .  After a few minutes everyone was happily painting away. The amazing  thing was   the way in which the children worked.  Absolute cooperation.  Absolute focus.  Absolute fun.  Adios hippos!
