answer 1 for Q 1 - the hopes Catherine has for the new girl that is moving in the girl across the street is that they could possibly friends and have a normal friendship like her best friend Melissa.
answer 2 for Q 2 - the qualities i hope for in the new friend across the street is that she can except Catherine\\\'s brother David for who he is , a person with autism and she can be really nice.
answer 3 for Q 3 - the reason why David uses quotes from \\\"FROG AND TOAD\\\" so often is because sometimes when he talks he runs out of words so when he does the he just leans back on the words from the story. :)

Catherine hopes that the her and the girl next door have a secret code (like the morse code) so they would be able to talk like next door neighbors are supposed to. The qualities I look for i a friend is someone that is just like me and can understand me more than anyone else can. Also, I look for a friend that will always have my back and can be there for me whenever I will need her! I think David quotes lines from the book Frog and Toad because he loves to read the books and it is easy for him to understand.

1.I think Catherine is feeling that the girl across the street Catherine are not doing anything Catherine thought they were going to do so she feeling upset
2.In a new friend I hope for a cool girl not mean really nice talks really kind to me doesn\\\'t get attitudes don\\\'t get it twisted sweet-hearted and cares about what I am feeling
3.I think David copies words From Frog and The Toad so often he doesn\\\'t really know a lot of words and he or he does what his sister Catherine tells him to do if you don\\\'t know a word then go back to a story

1.)The hopes Catherine has for the new girl is that they would have flashlight conversations and be able to play together and do all the stuff that Catherine wants to do. 2.) Qualities that i hope for in a new friend is to accept me for who i am and do not judge me also to be trustworthy and honest with me. 3.) I think he quotes the lines from toad and frog because they make him feel happy and also it makes him feel like he is able to memorize lines.
