Grow Something!?!?!?!

Another of the items on our checklist was to "grow something"! This specific wish made me really think. How was I going to grow something in such a short period of time? Then, inspiration struck. I decided to teach a lesson on "estimation" and our question would be..... How many marshmallows will it take to make Ms. S's cheeks grow full? After a lesson about good/bad estimates, each Kiddoe told me how many marshmallows he/she estimated it would take until my mouth was full. After a serious discussions about NOT trying this at home, the experiment begun.

1..2..3..4..5..6..7..

Yes.. I found out it takes 7 marshmallows to "grow" my cheeks full. As you can imagine there was hysterical laughter in our room. We looked back at our chart to see whose estimate was correct.

It was a great morning!
