Reading Fluency with Elephant and Piggie The students LOVE the Elephant and Piggie books by Mo Willems. We've been reading them a lot lately to practice our reading fluency. Thank you, Kinderkids and Mrs. Knee, for telling us about Elephant and Piggie and for the great idea for the headbands!

Thanks for the great idea using the Elephant and Piggie series. I love how you you combined using the headbands for the kids. I think it adds an additional level of engagement for students who are more kinesthetic learners.

I love her books!! I only knew about the pigeon ones but I see there are so many others from her...can't wait to read them to my class this year!! Those headbands are too cute, too! I will definitely be making those for my kiddos. Thanks for sharing!
