Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Motor stuff in this lesson we were studying number of wires, and 2 wires worke best.

the best arrangements were:
series set of battery
3 batteries
nail
2 wires
short string

the most washers any of us we could pull was 9.
