Ryan F -- Blogmeister

This is a space for adult students of grade 10, 11 and 12 English Language Arts to communicate about what and how they are learning, both in and out of class.

blog 13 In my first blog I stated that I thought this place was a better environment than high school; now that the course is just about over I still think that this has remained true. The main thing that I liked about this course is that we did work that has a more relative role in life, in high school when you have to do stuff like shakespear I just don't see how it will benefit my future; this course has given work that I feel can benefit my future.

I think your statement you meade is true, unlike highschool adult ad is a lot smaller even if the classes can be the same size but not always, and it is easier for most people compared to high school.

yea thats exactly what i was thinking as well, because in highschool it is so hard to get work done because everyone is worried about their personal image and its so easy to get distracted. I like how you said that in here we actaully do life related work and not Romeo and Juliet stuff.

i agree with you ryan. i feel this course had a lot of content that was very much related to my life and it is something that i can use in my life everyday. it really shocked me how different it was from high school this program is.
