May Freewrite: My Hero
Super-man!, Batman!, Ironman!, Incredible Hulk!, My dad! Now they are all heros in my book. Being a hero takes courage, achievement, and awarded for his deeds. Yahoo Anwser says the definition for a hero is a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. My dad is currently in the national guard he is a recruiter and he has been sent over seas when he was younger but now he just recruits people to come in the armed forces. My dad was shipped to Kowait, Iraq, and ect.
I hope one day I end up like him because I want my kids to look up to me like I did for him. I also think my dads a hero because hes special to me. I have always thought that what if he goes over seas and gets shot. One time he was in Iraq and his apendix popped. My dad doesnt get shipped anymore because he has five kids to take care of. He works really hard and achieves alot of goals during the week and on the weekends he helps me and my little brothers race dirtbikes.
My dad goes out of his way just to make my day better. He might not be recognized more then others but he is to me. When hes at a concert hes recognized for being in the armed forces. One time my dad and my step mom went to a Rascal Flatts concert, they got free tickets to see him. While they were there they had a chance to go up on stage and meet all the band crew.
My dads a hero, is yours?

I'm glad that your dad is your hero. I think it's pretty cool that you want to be like him.
