We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Conditions of Use


What I learned about friction I have learned a lot about friction. I mainly learned that friction is what happens when two objects rub up against each other. We used blocks along with scales to primarily measure the force. The reason we had scales was to measure how much friction was slowing down, or speeding up the weight of the object.
