We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Conditions of Use


Friction force It is a good thing we have friction because everthing would just slide every were. Most of the time when the surface area is bigger there is more friction.

6.1 we learned what tools we needed to measure friction

6.2 we got surfaces to slide a block across for 27 centimeters then made a graf and blog

6.3 we did friction test with blocks stack on each other
