Hey this is siverts and these are my thoughts about the book I’m reading for book clubs………As I’m reading this story I’m wondering if Gilly`s real mom loved her and why did her mom abandon her. I’m also wondering why she is always trying to hide emotion and why is Gilly so judgmental and rude. I’m also wondering if Gilly’s real mom going to come back for Gilly and how many foster homes has gone through this year. Gilly seems very rude but I can’t really get a feel on her right now.

Hi! I'm earshall, for my book club group I am reading The Great Gilly Hopkins. One of my thoughts is, does Gilly Hopkins have a nice personality or not? I can’t tell now because in the book she doesn’t show a lot of emotion yet. Another one of my thoughts is, is Miss Ellis her driver, the orphanage owner, or her mom at the moment? I don’t know because, all she did so far is drive Gilly in a car to her next adopted home. And my last thought is, how many homes has Gilly lived in? Because, they say that she has been in many homes, but how many?
