 This One's for You Saying “I’ll be the Romeo and you play the Juliet.” The song describes how he will be nothing without her, and that it’s not just a book he read, its reality, and that she will forever be in his heart. That she is so beautiful “so bright so bright.” That he’ll show her a heart that will never fail. I agree that the allusion is clear in the song “this one’s for you – of mice and men” it does make you see what the song is talking about. It does catch your emotions, your eye in the song. The accuracy was dead on. This was a amazing song to choose as a allusion, and relate the play Romeo and Juliet, by taking quotes from the play and putting them into their song, and also putting their names into the song.
