This One's for You For this our love has ever been so groomed, so smooth? What if this is a lie and our love is not so groomed so smooth? This is not just a romance, but a journey into my life. The song “this one’s for you – Of Mice and Men” the meaning of this song is about two lovers that describe their love like Romeo and Juliet.

Saying “I’ll be the Romeo and you play the Juliet.” The song describes how he will be nothing without her, and that it’s not just a book he read, its reality, and that she will forever be in his heart. That she is so beautiful “so bright so bright.” That he’ll show her a heart that will never fail.
I agree that the allusion is clear in the song “this one’s for you – of mice and men” it does make you see what the song is talking about. It does catch your emotions, your eye in the song. The accuracy was dead on.
This was a amazing song to choose as a allusion, and relate the play Romeo and Juliet, by taking quotes from the play and putting them into their song, and also putting their names into the song. It also really described them, their love for each other, and also making it emotional, and visual.

Brandon, I agree with this song choice. This song does have good, accurate depictions.

Hey Brandon, you did an awesome job on showing me how this song uses Romeo and Juliets name.
Good job :)
