World History Fair My guiding question was "What was the main purpose for building the Pyramids?" I learned a lot while working. I learned that when the Great Pyramid of Giza was built you probably could see it from the moon. You could see it from so far away because of the stone that was used on the outside. I think the most interesting part was learning just how big it is. It is 481 ft. tall and 756 ft wide at the base.

I also learned a lot from the other projects as well. I learned that gladiators in ancient Rome only sometimes wore full suits of armor. I also learned that the coliseum could be flooded and there would be ship battles.
