Letter from the Trenches Dear Family,

I saved two people but they used all my bandages. I'm officially sick of bully beef and hard biscuits.
Once I almost got shot by a Turk so I threw my biscuit at him and I got his eye.

It is hard living in a trench; it is damp, smelly, and dirty. I have got a broken leg and I've got crutches.
Tell Aria I miss her and I'm sorry I can't play with her.

I miss you all very much.
