 Red Fox Foxes live in forests, grasslands, mountains, and deserts. Foxes eat rodents, rabbits, birds, and other small creatures. They will eat fruit and vegetables, fish, frogs, and even worms. They use their tails as warm cover for winter. The female fox gives birth to a litter of 2 to 12 pups at birth. Red foxes are actually brown or gray.
